My turn

Post by Erik Nimblehands » Thu May 19 05 ; 8 24 pm

Ok, I heard this awhile back, but maybe you guys haven't

A man is in a room ten feet square. No doors, windows, or other obvious methods of egress. The walls, floors, and ceiling are unbreakable. All that is in the room with him is a table and a mirror. How does the man get out?

Easy. The man breaks the mirror on the table, kills himself and his soul escapes through the celing. lol

Honestly, I have no idea. You got me.

Hmm, If there is no means of getting out of the room, my question is how did he get IN the room?

I guess my answer is he is already out of the room

Since there is no obvious exit, why not a secret exit behind the mirror? So he uses the table to break the mirror which reveals a hidden passageway out of the room!!!!
:Totally Cool)
If the human brain were so simple that we could understand it, we would be so simple that we couldn't.

I mean that we mustn't try to sort out how he got in the room but how he is going to leave it. Thats all I meant...

I realize that, but often riddles use tricks or a play on words to fool ya.

Sorry guys, but there are no secret exits, and the guy is just there, so deal with it. It is a word puzzler, but I'll leave it for Monday night to spoil the answer.

Ok, here it is: You look in the mirror and see what you saw. You take the saw, cut the table in half. Two halves make a whole, jump through the hole and you are out. :peace)

~GROAN~

I thought it was something like that. I was thinking that you look into the mirror and see the whole wall, then climb through the hole.. but I couldn't figure out how the table was involved.
